Requirements
Brevet Requirements: The participant should have completed the first level "Advanced Free Diver (Level 2)" of the Apnoe-King Academy, but the participant should be able to complete a distance of 200 meters in any swimming style without fins in. 5 minutes and 10 minutes of floating on the surface (unassisted), with hands (not arms) out of the water. Participants do not have to be scuba divers.
Minimum age: 18 years
Workshop duration: 3 days
Required equipment
- mask, snorkel, normal or Apnoe fins, watch and depth gauge or a freediver computer
- for open water training a wetsuit, weight belt and weights
- Furthermore, a medical certificate of fitness for diving is required

Description and aim of the workshop
Participation in this program is the first step into the professional activity of freediving. The Master Freediver plays a key role in the proper and successful operation of a freediving base. Through the training he will gain valuable experience that will help him in his preparation first as a Free Diver Assistant Instructor and then as a Free Diver Instructor. Proper behaviour, preparatory training, appropriate knowledge and use of proper equipment are the necessary conditions for successful performance of duties and gaining experience.
Upon completion of the workshop, the participant should be able to do the following:
- Hold his/her breath at the water surface for 3 minutes (Static Apnoe).
- 60 meters of distance diving (dynamic Apnoe)
- 25 meters deep diving (with weights)
- 10 meters of deep diving (without mask, fins) including 10 seconds of dwelling on the bottom
Upon completion of the workshop, the participant will receive a certificate of attendance/certificate from the Apnoe-King Academy.

Open water training
The practical part is divided into two parts:
1. Part
- Preparation of the team for freediving from a boat
- Preparation and installation of vertical ropes
- Apnoea diving to a depth of 25 m with ten seconds stay on the bottom
- Apnoea diving without mask and fins to a depth of 10 m with ten seconds stay on the bottom
- Organizational - / safety aspects, as well as the supervision of the diver during the whole procedure
